About

Slow software for deep learners.

A short read on what I'm trying to build, and what I'm not.

Most "learning apps" are designed to keep you swiping. They reward five-minute streaks and bite-sized fragments, and the learning often stays surface-deep — because you never read anything longer than a sentence.

I'm interested in the opposite shape. The unit of learning is a chapter, not a sentence. Tools that treat real textbooks like real textbooks. Software that rewards finishing, not just opening.

I work alone. There's no team, no investors, no growth targets. The product is paid for by readers, and that keeps the design honest — there's no incentive to invent a streak you have to keep alive.

If I build something that solves a real problem for a few hundred people who care about learning deeply, that's the outcome I'm aiming at.
